Not necessarily. They have really shallow disc offset so the calipers stick out loads. The pro race 1.2s in 16" needed a 3mm spacer...

yeah 99% certain it's the coil pack so not a big fix just a ball ache taking the inlet manifold off to do it

As welshpug says they are notorious for the old coilpacks! Luckily a relatively easy fix though mate!

Inlet off for the front coils? Eh?

It looked ok, but badly needed lowering - they looked a touch small in the arches as 16s

Yeah I think 17" would look good, something like the 307 challengers.

Adam did i see somewhere when you fitted the D8 engine in the 306 you used cable clutch instead of hydraulic? I hate my hydraulic clutch!

i assumed as the rear coil pack has the ignition leads attached to it that it was the control one, but infact its the front that controls the spark and sends the signal too the rear.

so thankfully its just the engibe cover off too change

just got to locate one now,

Stick with the hydraulic, the cable was a proper pain in the arse!!

I love the starfish wheels too, but we've got them on our estate and they are bloody heavy...
Anyway the turinis are on, et16 needed 5mm spacers to clear the calipers LOL

Yes. I will get some sorted soon.

I might have another coupe by the end of the weekend. 2.2 petrol, s&b. Break or fix depending on the management issues. Smile

Well if its not worth much more than £1200 then its unlikely to survive, considering the cost changing the clutch, dmf and possibly the main engine ECU Smile
