As i understand it.

If the chemicals are injected straight into the cylinder they wont come into contact with the problem area around the inlet valves.

So, not a Jeep then! Just like my 'Hoover' which isn't a Hoover at all. More of a Dyson really. Whistle

I never got round to it, but on the bmw forum everybody singing praises as mpg on drive down sat at 21mpg on way back 29mpg same style of driving others went from 32mpg up to 45mpg and storys like that, not heard of any horror storys of damage or anything like that yet.

A mate of mine had it done on a VW Transporter TD5

Was OK for a few days then whatever the readings you look at for emissions etc went rhoughr the roof,

Got a full money back and redo at the place, it really shouldn't be used on diesels, even though the guy there said it was fine!

The theory sounds good - that getting rid of the carbon deposits will make your engine run more efficiently, lower emissions etc. But I must admit, despite seeing the Wheeler Dealer episode where they used it on that Jag and it showed a big improvement, I am dubious about it. There are a lot of motoring products that are a complete waste of money that promise all kinds of big improvements.

Are there any reasonably non-biased reviews to get a feel for whether or not it actually does work?
