I had several white knuckle passenger rides in the said N/A motor, it was indeed an absolute weapon! with a wonderful soundtrack to top it off! Cool

N/A's are fine these days due to engine control etc,
But N/A or Turbo for me, Never liked S/C's as they make bugger all torque

Thats one of the reasons I went SC Laugh

Low torque (especially lower in the rev range) makes it very driveable. No torque steer etc with being wrong wheel drive etc. Also means there is less stress on things like gearbox and clutch. This is comparing to a turbo by the way.

The other point on the above means it still drives like an NA car, still need to rev it to get the best out of it, and I love that, where as some wont.

SC or NA for me. I do love a turbo though.

This is exactly right for me. No torque = 600 sports bike hassle in traffic, I'd have a thou just for the extra torque for everyday riding

Agreed, I wouldn't go lower than 1000cc now I have my GSXR1000, plenty of effortless torque. Yes

Don't get me wrong, Stan, I firmly believe anything 750+ is wasted on our roads. I loved my R6, fast enough for fun, fast enough to lose your licence, fast enough to never get overtaken Wink haha
