Okay guys,

just looking for some final words before I head off to buy some tyres.

Basically my shortlist is down to:

Michelin exalto PE2's - £51 (blackcircles)
Falken Zeix ZE912 - £39.50 (camskill)
Uniroyal rain sport 2 - £37.50 (camskill)

Any thoughts, I hear the PE2s might get many votes, but the £20 I'll save on the other two will go towards the kwikmonkey to fit them and tracking that needsdneeds doing.

Cheers chaps

Dave

PE2 all day long for me.
Got one car with PE2's and the other with RS2's, never tried Falkens but the PE2's are the best road tyre i've used to date. I've got mega pressures in the RS2's to try and compensate for the plastic bag thick walls, still not pleasant to drive with.

You need to find yourself a local tyre place on a friday afternoon with a £20 in your hand. Then get the tracking done elsewhere.

Pe2's will be worth the extra £20. You will not be disappointed.

Damn I forgot how cheap tyres are in the UK. paid $400 for four sh!t, I mean really sh!t tyres out here,
to get it through RWC (MOT). Been trying to kill them for 6 months now so I can justify some decent ones to the missus.

All i'm gonna say, is bite the bullet and pay for better tyres.
It's a battle between me and my tyres. I'm trying to kill them, they're trying to kill me.
    I think they're winning Sad
