Basically look at the throttle body and follow the small tube that comes off the intake hose to where it ends.It attaches directly onto that hose Two bolts iirc Little black thingy. Should as magnettimarelli on it. ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

Another vote for the power steering sensor too. Give the ICV a good clean and see if it helps at all (in my experience you'll have to replace it if its broken anyway). The power steering sensor is down between the rad and the inlet manifold, unplug that to see if it gets any better, if it does, replace it. Good luck! |

Sorry guys, but i'm confused as to why a PAS sensor would affect the engines performance? Can anyone explain? ________________________________________ Richies Project RallyeElectrical work carried out in Portsmouth jamiek_uk2000 wrote: - Top Tip!!! You'll need to throw money at the car. Not on parts. Just stand near your car and throw loose change at it, I find this increases performance for a short period of time |

It compensates for the extra load placed on the engine by the PAS pump when the PAS system is operated. When they misbehave they can cause idling and stalling issues.________________________________________ You feed beefburgers to swans. The lambda could well be at fault here, especially as you say it can be juddery low down at 30mph. That fault wouldn't be caused by an iffy ICV or PAS sensor. Try unplugging the lambda sensor and go for a short drive. If the problem is dramatically better/cured go and buy a new lambda and replace it. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
