Well booked another ring trip for the 7/8/9 of september and drive back on the 10th, if anyone what's to tag along they are more than welcome, bought a cheap 206 gti 180 to thrash about in. Can't risk crashing the rallye again, it about killed me off last time.

Me and a good mate are going, let me know if you are interested.

Been prepping the 206, storing the rallye whilst having the garage built at home and split a cv boot on the escort at ford fair yesterday, stood back and realised the garage was just full of my toys lol

The power house-

Notice the morettes? Seems all the cars I end up buying have these fittedLOL

Carl

What's with the Cyclones on the '180'? How was FordFair Carl? I really wanted to go as never been but breaking my elbow put stop to that Sad

Wish the 306 Morette headlamps looked as intergrated as they do on the 206/106 (whole unit rather than Ph1 indicators)!

Has to be BIG Turbo model, unless you want an Original/unmolested 227bhp example...

Hope you have a good one Carl. Id love to go back out there again this year but i cant justify spending another grand.

I ended up having to delay my euro tunnel last month Laugh

Didnt end up finish changing the rad and rebuilding the rest of the pieces (also a massive thanks to Steve) until silly o'clock.

You were a saviour that day though having that rad in stock!!

Enjoy it mate!

Cyclones are on it whilst the wheels are being refurbished and the rear axle rebuilt. Ford fair was good, took my daughter with me so as you can imagine she was moaning her legs ached and she wanted to go home after a couple of hours LOL

Yep the cosworth is a big turbo model and is pushing near on 400 bhp lol so very addictive.

It can be all yours for £2000 with the complete car, can you believe I have spent £700 on it in a week, fixed the air con (new pipe) rebuilt the rear axle, new rear disks and pads, calipers, alloys refurbished, new rear back plates and two new tyres, oh and a bloody good clean.

Looks the part now tho, at least if we put it on its roof it will show off some shiny bits.

No worries mate, it's all about having a good time out there, you have to know your limits though as it can be a costly mistake otherwise. Don't I know it.

Have to say this may be my last year for a while as we are expecting another child in febuary and I can't see her letting me play out then?

Carl

Few sets for sale on 206info.co.uk, going rate is about £30-£40 a set.

Earlier sets will fit fine too and will be cheaper.

Well got the 206 all ready to rock now, it does make you think what a great car they made when they did the 306 as its not a patch on it to be fair.

A few finished photos, it does shine up well.

All new shiney wheels with new calipers and backing plates, just need to get the centre lion badges.
