This is crazy now! About the only thing you haven't changed is the FPR, although I can't really see that causing the problem...

I havn't read all of this thread but read all of page 3 and most of page 1. Don't want to scare you but my friends old blaze started misfire like post 1 and after a little while the HG went. Dont think he changed much when diagnosing it i will have to talk to him but if you can stop driving it before you get it checked it might be a good idea.________________________________________ Team SUPERCHARGEDI LIVE FOR THE 306 Old Project thread Clicky: click here remove the space between [url = |

Post a photo of your injectors, and maybe your engine bay? Also, How many plugs on your loom are disconnected? Sounds to me like someone has fettled with something at some point. Why the **** did it have black bodied injectors as well? Thats weird. Do you hvae and history for it? Any strange engine or sensor changes ? ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

BlackSix wrote: mines got a 4 bar on it o_O would that cause this problem? yeap some numpty has fitted a VW VR6 item on there most likely thinking it would make it faster, thereby confusing the f**k out of the ecu which is expecting a max of 3 bar. also all 4 injectors should have green tops silver bodies. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

BlackSix wrote: mines got a 4 bar on it o_O would that cause this problem? As Meirion says, this will most likely be the cause of the issue. How do you know it's a 4 bar one? I'm guessing it's actually written on the FPR itself... Some people in the past have fitted a "Power Boost Valve" which is an adjustable FPR and *supposedly* going to give you as much as 10bhp... However, they are not worth bothering with. You said your spark plugs were a bit sooty as if it was running rich - looks like you've found the answer as to why. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

BlackSix wrote: it does have 4 bar written on it. f**king ace. getting one ordered Good stuff. It makes me wonder what else you may find out of place with this car...first the injectors are wrong and now somebody has fitted an FPR that is also incorrect. If a new, correctly rated FPR solves the problem (which I suspect it will) then you've been lucky but I would be concerned what else has been "bodged" that you've still yet to discover. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

That's true, try the FPR first and go from there. Maybe with all the things you've already replaced you could get a runaround anyway and rebuild the '6' as a winter project if something untoward does happen. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
