Which back box is the correct standard one?

I currently have a Magnex Center section & Back box fitted to my 6. Last week the novelty wore off in a big way, a 400mile motorway round trip with client, will do that.

I'd previously bought a "standard" back box (on the left in picture) thinking it would be an easy switch, this is when I discovered that the car also had Magnex Center section fitted, so I left the back box in the garage for a few months.

Last week I bought a Center section and "standard" back box off eBay (it's the one on the right)

So my question is which is the correct standard back box for a GTi6?

Cheers
Dai

Neither of them is the correct answer, standard ones are a funny shape and boxy in profile, not round

Thanks chaps

The back box on the left is a Bosel see writing on picture

This is all that's on the back box on the right.

Should i go with the Left one as its a brand I've heard of?

Could they both be as boomey as the Magnex?

Yes I properly will sell the Magnex, will take pic's & list on here once it's off the car.

i'd be more tempted to use the one on the left (in your 1st post), as it has the more oval tailpipe.

new pattern part mid sections can be bought for around £50, or genuine item for about £130

can't see a standard system being louder than the magnex
