This could be your springs binding, do they have regular top mounts or pillowball/ adjustable ?

I use a ptfe spray on mine when they begin to bind. However my top mount bearings are due to be replaced so its only a temporary fix. What coilovers do you have?

Got some gaz golds . They any good?. Yeh those standard top mounts are made to take standard diametre springs arnt they so surely the noise will be the spring moving round in the mount?

Quite a few people seem to run the golds, some swear by them but others say they are pants.I know the finish on them doesnt last too long at least. I have KWs and to run the standard top mount they use this cup sat on top of the spring.

I guess golds will be similar. If you're running standard top mounts that's the first place I would look.

i run kad top mounts as thats what i have to as springs are 450lbs so wouldnt work with standard top mounts, but agree the finish does not last on the gaz shocks at all pretty poor, but i love them there great on track!

Are parts 6 and 5 seated/mated correctly? Part 5 is the bearing, if that's not seated right on both sides that's what causing the noise.

You would surely realise you didn't have the bearing in ? They generally are stuck in old top mounts. Should of bought new top mount kits Yes
