Hi am I right in thinking that the first bleed point to bleed on the Brembos will be the inner one as that's the first side to receive the fluid?
I know the order is rear p/s - rear d/s - front p/s - front d/s
Basically working from furthest away from the master cylinder and working closer but I'm just guessing to do the
Inner nipple first before the outer on each caliper?

It doesn't matter??
I've only got 1.5 litre of fluid! Was reading a thread on here and some guy used over 6 litres, he forgot to open 1 of the nipples!

All bled up now but each time I crack each front nipple I get a few bubbles first then solid fluid, I move to other bleed nipple on same caliper then a few bubbles again before solid fluid, moving on to the first side and I get the same, back to other side and same again and so on.
Is this normal?

Edit:
It could be the bit of air in my bleeding line from when I remove it from the nipple after tightening it,
I'll try again and try and leave my bleed line full of air.

Hi
If there the same as the old Metro Brakes
We had to open both Bleed Nipples at the same time and lock them of at the same time
A bit fiddly but worked
Might be worth tryin it that way

I will try that tmmrw, first I will do it and keep the tube full of fluid so I know it's not bubbles just from the tube.

Yeh I've gotta fit some when they turn up obvs will use someone to pump the pedel for md anyway. Get fluid from work for nout so not worried how much gets used.

You'll never get all the air out on the first bleed, do them as best you can, give it a drive to shake them up then do it again.

I buy big 5 litre bottles of cheapy Unipart brake fluid for the initial bleed, then once it's bled through I'll flush through the decent stuff.

Generally furthest from the reservoir first, doesn't really matter which side of the caliper first, then go around the whole car at least twice.

Are you bleeding them by yourself or is someone helping? I find best bet is to have someone pump the pedal slowly, and tighten the nipple up as they're pushing down so you get zero air back into the brakes.

that's what I was doing mate, was also holding the tube into the fluid do if anything did backflip it would be fluid not air.
I'm struggling for a helper today cos Katie's a Mardy arse.

R888's FTW. This is the problem with improving things on a car, all you do is move what the weak link is. Normal road tyres are fine while you have normal brakes, but now you've improved your brakes so much it's the rubber or suspension letting you down Yes

Or you could decide it's good enough and you're leaving it how it is. For now...

tbh mate, it brakes very well, I didn't mean it as a bad thing, it's really really good, I'm more interested in stopping it snaking around under hard braking, it did this before!

Heh no I had the Brembos on mine for a long time before I upgraded to Ash's kit, for road use they're just awesome and you can easily damage people's faces.

Any squeal? Or is this Ash's kit?

It's ashes kit 330mm bought from the one and only stu ^^ thanks stu awsome!
it still snakes like f**k under hard braking though, it's as though the rear beam is moving around.

Depends how well your rears are working and how evenly. Don't have any problems on mine even under really hard braking. The abs comes in well before it snakes about. What rear beam set up you got?

Solid rear mounts
4 wheel alignment said I had 0 toe both rear wheels.

It snaked before I fitted these, Jim had a look at the beam and all seemed ok.
It's very lively at the rear on braking and road camber changes and acceleration eg

When it had its mot the braking was very even, it feels no different now balancewise
