I have just got the 310mm brembo setup that ash makes I run 16” speedline turini wheels and the clearance is so close that when the callipers get warm they rub the wheel. Has any one had this problem befor?I am going to take alittle bit off the Calliper it should be fine. ________________________________________ Where did the road go!Chris |

Thats a bit close, i run 16 pro race 1.2 which a few a few mm more clearance. But 17's are more suited especially for brake cooling________________________________________ Team Supercharged Gti-6NV Motorsport Automotive Performance Tuning 0121 448 7515 ECU Remapping/ DPF removal VAG/BMW Diag and Option Coding Peugeot Planet ECU coding/transponder programming etc www.nvmotorsport.com Facebook Page Project S6 |

Yeah, I've had the same with my 16 inch Turinis. Taking a little off the calipers is the right way forward for the kit to fit with those wheels.________________________________________ Rich |

I had this problem with those brakes and my 17" superlegeras, I put the back wheel on the front and it cleared. ________________________________________ 306 1.8 xs moonstone blue-SOLD306 gti6 supercharged china blue-SOLD 406 coupe D9 3.0 V6-SOLD |

I should have about 2mm with the amount I've taken off. Didn't want to take off that much at all seeing as i don't know how thick it is there |

Not the same kit but i have next to nothing in terms of clearance on my setup and i have never had a problem An alternative would be to sand/file the inside of the wheels a little where it catches, there should be more to play with there than on the caliper as there is at least 1mm's worth of paint. ________________________________________ Just Drive It |

My Brembo's rub on my 1.2's so I took a file to it, they seem to be OK. Gutted though as they had just been refurbed before I done that.330mm under 16" FTW! ________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! Just put 17s on ffs. Rubbing down brake structure is a great idea. Brembo made them that big for a reason.________________________________________ |

Yeah only about 1mm myself, it's half paint in all fairness. I can't run 17's as the wheel will foul on my shocks, I've only got around 10mm between the tyre and bottom nut of the shock ________________________________________ 205 GTi Red - G939 RTU - Died!306 GTi 6 Diablo - Being resurrected! Dude, I've taken off the raised logos and so little that you can still see the grain in the metal. If it was a few mm needed i wouldn't be fitting them but i doubt the raised "brembo" and "renault" logos are structural. |
