Flashlube keeps the valves lubricated and helps stop them corroding.
I was also quoted £850 all in from some places. Not a chance though. I wouldn't want a cheap kit as they do tend to have problems. I've been told to get a kit of the same premium brand. BRC and Prinns are top from what I've read/heard. So make sure if anyone does decide to have a conversion done, that ALL parts are of the same brand, preferably BRC/Prinns.
Also, make sure you use a UKLPG approved installer. More info here:

Also shows the LPG filling stations although I've had a look and some dont seem to be filling stations, but may sell LPG
