They are actually alloy, but are styled like steel wheels.

5401 L7 rings a bell, but just have a look on servicebox, they have gone up in price though, around £60 a piece now, hence my £80 a set was a bargain Ninja

Pro race 1's are a better choice being lighter. Got some on my clio although I'm not sure I like the look of them sometimes. Bloody wish Renault and Peugeot shared the same fitment!

I may have to jump on this C5 bandwagon.

How much clearence is there over '6 brakes? Can't be any worse than speedlines, but worth knowing.

Pretty sure I've read on here you need to be carefull where balancing weights are placed,or they will touch calipersDunno

    So pretty closeYes

you don't use stick on weights on C5 wheels, so you'll be fine, also the C5 uses a 283mm disc though a little thicker very similar offsets to a 306.

Yip, knock on weights and no issues with clearance. Im not 100% convinced that the C5's are the best wheels for brake cooling, when used hard on track, but theres no disputing the benefits in unsprung weight at the corners.

Downside is they look a bit "plain"?

no worse than any other 15x6 wheel I'd imagine though obviously some wheels are designed specifically to keep the brakes cool, not many are.

if you're worried add some brake cooling ducting Thumbs up

what about the superleggera/ultraleggera I keep seeing them marked up as magnesium,..
I'm thinking that's bollox for the price they go for but mine seem to be lighter than cyclones 16" running 195 50 16 tyres

but haven't weighed one so don't quote me! LOL

Have to do that with speed lines. Had some weights on the inside edge and they rubbed the calipers.
