Hi Guys. I am doing my cambelt next week and whilst its off would like to upgrade where possible. I will already be removing a/c pump and power steering. Is there anything i can upgrade whilst the job is done for example lighter pulleys or bottom pulley? Advice please...________________________________________ Team SUPERCHARGEDI LIVE FOR THE 306 Old Project thread Clicky: click here remove the space between [url = |

Does anyone know how much they are before i ask them both? And is there anything else i can do? Lighter top pulleys? Is it unadvisable to leave the cam cover off for example if i got coloured top pulleys?________________________________________ Team SUPERCHARGEDI LIVE FOR THE 306 Old Project thread Clicky: click here remove the space between [url = |

I personally wouldn't leave the cambelt cover off. As for the bottom pulley, I think they are around £100. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

You will need some new coolant to go with the water pump don't forget...Also, might be worth putting a new aux belt on seeing as you have to remove it to do the job anyway. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Also, might be worth putting a new aux belt on seeing as you have to remove it to do the job anyway. i will be doing away with the power steering and the a/c so no need for an aux belt (even though it came in the kit) the only thing that will need tension is the alternator so i will need to measure it and get a smaller belt from somewhere from what i understand. ________________________________________ Team SUPERCHARGEDI LIVE FOR THE 306 Old Project thread Clicky: click here remove the space between [url = |

Thats a generic belt number.6 rib 700mm long. Go into any motor factors and tell them that and they will search for it. I forget which car it was actually listed for. Was about 7 quid for a gates one. ________________________________________ |

nope, though you do need to bung the holes in the pinion housing where the pipes go on but leave tiny breather holes.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
