Hi everyone.

Just purchased my first 306 last Friday and I have been smiling since! I own a MX5 but I missed the back seats and a comfy driving position so I got on the web to look for either a Saxo or a 106. To cut a long story short I stumbled across a 306 Rallye on 62,000 miles and a deal was made a week later!

A picture when I went to view it. (Rather pink, I blame the crap phone camera!)

It's had a recent re spray and the head was rebuilt at 25k (Cam belt snapped)

Interior is mint with no signs of wear!

I don’t have any plans for it yet. I might rebuild a rear beam for a little project.

Thanks for reading,

Colin.

Some one posted a couple of days ago about which would be more fun, an MX5 or 6, whats your view?

Hmm, it’s a bit unfair to compare the two in my opinion. Apples and oranges and all that. But I would have to say the 6 is more fun. The mx5 feels underpowered most of the time and when pushing the limits it’s a little twitchy. This of course is just my experience with my MX5 which is going to be 20 years old soon! The 6 feels so refined compared to the MX5, almost luxurious, and I’m in a Rallye!! Haha

If it had 'only' done 25K, yet it had taken several years to do that mileage then it's asking for trouble. Thats why it is X miles or X years. Whichever comes first.

Thanks. Smile I was gob smacked when I was told it went at 25k. It would appear it spent a lot of time in storage and was over looked when it came to the initial servicing.

A break in the rain/sleat/hail/snow ment I could give it a quick clean!

The bumper was replaced when it was re sprayed and the splitter must have been forgotten about. Do Peugeot still make them?

    Thanks,
