I used to use P21s I think it was called. Made the pearl nice and deep. I don't think they sell it any more though? I had trouble buying it in 2006 when I tried to replace a tub.________________________________________ |

I use poorboys nattys paste. It leaves a great shine and is easy to apply. I do this every 2 weeks and use showroom shine for a general wash n wax weekly. The results are great though. ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

Meguiars tech wax is good on diablo i used it for a while on my diablo. Best thing is clay the car first and then use a 3 stage waxing process for long lasting shine. ________________________________________ puglessPhase 1 GTI 6 1996-1997 Subaru Impreza GB270 2007-2008 rare spiderman comics same day international courier |

I use maguires cleaner wax or maguires carnauba wax both bloody good, easy to apply and easy to rub off with no dust at all. The both are very durable and leave a deep glossy shine. Claying is a good shout if you want a mirror finish. ________________________________________ Team Nile 6Team: 40.2 MPG 5 x a 306 owner! currently abusing type r's in a town near you ™ I truely live for the 306 ® Build date: 29th October 1997 Wednesday's car midweek madness |

Collinite for me for longevity, last for ages. Auto glym HD isn't bad either.I personally hate DoDo wax's, they seem to wear off if you look at them funny, never seem to last more than a couple of weeks for me. ________________________________________ 1999 Gaystone blue '6,1990 sierra cosworth 4x2 |

collinite 476s. On Diablo red, victorias concourse red wax would look good. It's a wet-look wax, not terribly hard wearing but will make for a good spring/summer wax. On the clay bar front, remember you'll need to polish and wax it afterwards etc because when claying you're effectively removing everything that's on the paint surface, ie, it's like nekkid unprotected paint. ________________________________________ '13 208 Gti Bianca White, '99 Bianca 306 Rallye, '92 309 Goodwood GTi 5dr, '92 Miami Blue 309 GTi 3dr. |

I have Zymol Glasur as well, it's lovely stuff even just for sticking my nose in the tub for a smell!! I also have Swissvax BOS for a wee treat now and then. My first ever half decent wax was poorboys natty's blue paste wax, which did a mightily good job of my indigo blue 206 ________________________________________ '13 208 Gti Bianca White, '99 Bianca 306 Rallye, '92 309 Goodwood GTi 5dr, '92 Miami Blue 309 GTi 3dr. |

It all depends on the prep to your car. I am a bit nerdy when it comes toCleaning. However always wash dray clay and then start. I always use chemical guys ez glaze as it acts like a filler on minor swirls & works as a cracking base for wax. I then used to use nattys blue, which is good. I have used megs ntx wax which was easy to apply but needed to be as it wore off v quick. I have used collonite before which was a Cnut to do but lasted for ages. I quite like g3 paste wax. It goes on easy and lasts about as long as nattys. ________________________________________ Previous china gti6 and Rallye owner. Now a proud Astor Gti 6 owner. Missing he BMW already... |
