Hey all, i'm new here.
Signed up as i am 90% sure i am about to buy a T plate moonstone '6 for my daily runner as its been offered to me cheap and i know the car.

The names Dan, a few of you may know me from pug306.net, i am a member on there and used to have this as a daily....

so, hello.

What sort of mpg would i expect to see from a gti-6, i'm not a maniac, but do enjoy a spirited drive now and then, but i usually plod the 4 miles to work and back sedately.

Cheers Chaps.

Great sierra. I was looking at these a few years ago. Insurance was surprisingly reasonable at 21 and they were about 3k for a half decent one. Now the prices of them have rocketed. I sometimes think I prefer the look of them over a 3 door as odd as it sounds. What's the spec?

    Welcome.

My '6 averages around 30mpg driving to work and back, 22 mile round trip daily. Mostly sedate driving with the occasional bit of spirited driving when conditions permit it.
Can see 35-40+mpg on a long motorway run.
