I have a 306 gti 6 blaze and was trying to get hold of a cheap ish 106 gti, any one no the best place to start? ________________________________________

106 forums.Pistonheads. Autotrader. Freeads. Gumtree. eBay. Google. The same way you look for any car. Specialised owners clubs, then the usual classified places. Are you above a size 6 shoe? ________________________________________  |

I'm a 10 and found my 106 influenced what shoes i wore when driving. Couldn't wear my vans if i wanted to use the clutch and brake separatelyGTI 6 is a much better all rounder IMO plus anyone over 6ft wont look like a clown driving one! ________________________________________ Cherry Red 306 HDIChampionship White Integra DC5 Type R |

Had a 1.1 and Saxo VTS, with size 10 feet the pedals aren't that big a deal. Test drove a couple of 106 GTIs when buying the 306 aswell.They don't however have the same appeal as the 6 for me, don't feel as powerful, don't hold the road aswell, tend to jump around more, not as refined and for some reason quite expensive?! |

Tbh I wouldn't want a 106 after owning a six, even though there isn't much in it until just past 60 I find them too small and they are a bit deathtrap ish. Basically I prefer the wider track and wheelbase of a 306________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

I had the saxo, alot cheaper than the gti and the same car. I would try and get a standard one from autotrader or gumtree, 106 owners etc seem to think a 100k car is worth 2k because its lowered on vts wheels lol.Dare i say it was more fun than the gti6 at slower speeds and small country roads. 6 is a better allrounder though. |

How about the 106 Rallye 1.3? Kinda hankering after one  How economical are they? Quite cheap to insure and tax, am very tempted but not many come up, and quite a few have had the 1.6 lump dropped in! ________________________________________ Still watching you... |

Beenn that big since I was 15/16. And my first car was a mk 3 polo. Since Day one I drove with the side of my foot.
