your earth lead can be tiny. it literally needs to come off the battery and to the floor / boot. i wouldn't bother running a 2 metre earth lead

Can this earth go anywhere?

I am putting my battery behind passenger seat and there are some old bolt type things attached to the car (old seat base points?) can I just attach it to that?

Yes mate, i use the old seat bracket thing for the rear seats and just put a washer and a 10mm nut on it Thumbs up i only supply a 50cm earth lead to run to the body somewhere

Going to have to drop out as I don't know the final position of the battery or cut off switch yet.

Will possibly have 1 or 2 kits available from next weekend if anyone is interested. Kits will locate the battery to the boot.
You will need to supply your own junction box to join the cables in the engine bay.

Kit will include:

1 length of live cable from the engine bay to the boot
1 length of earth cable to earth the battery in the boot
New Positive and negative terminals
1 eyelet terminals what will be need for the positive wire, cut off origional terminal and fit eyelet to fit into junction box.

Kits will be £50 posted.
If you want me to supply a junction box they will be £15

Can i just ask, what size cable are you using with these? And how long are the cables? Im assuming you are cutting them to a length thats suitable for a particular route. In the car or underneath?
