That's just one small bit, there's so many functions that makes using other forums so much easier and slicker.

sigh,

auto links, image inserting box, button for making stuff bold, italic, underscored, strikethrough, subscript, superscript, numbered lists, bulleted lists, align left/centred/right.

a smiley dropdown that places the smiley where the cursor is, not at the end of the bloody post.

get with the times man seriously Thumbs up

Let's have a little poll.

Who wants Ash to spend his time turning the forum to be an online version of microsoft wordpad or perhaps implementing new features such as the recently revamped classifieds?

Some simple changes to the way we enter text, emoticons and pictures would be great.

Let me have a look. I'll definitely make URLs into links, that shouldn't be a problem.

I'm a bit hesitant about implementing something too much like a little Word window though, we don't need that level of formatting, but I'll see what I can do.

How ironic. There is no poll option.

Don't fear. I'm in poll position

    indeed, how f*cking ironic.

I'm not wanting wordpad, that's crap, most forums are easier to use than that piece of Microsoft BS LOL

I mean standard up to date forum software, you can make it look however outdated you want.

I think what welshy was trying to get across was something along the following lines... This is an example from another forum.

I dont quite understand why admin seem to be getting properly defensive when genuine requests are asked. After all people have paid membership for this forum Dunno

+1 Paying users are giving suggestions and admin seem to just be ganging up to take the p*ss out of them. I don't get it.

an example forum to have a look at would be AVforums. A lot could be learnt from that forum.

Just a suggestion.. No need to flame..

No admin for a few weeks at a time, and now they are swooping down like a flock of seagulls on Welshpug's sausage roll of an idea.

I believe it is a case of can't beat em, join em.

I await Ash's m*eatspin redirections on the 'view new content' button.

What the hell is all that crap? Its not needed! You gotta be a spastic not to be able to use this forum the way it is. Actually sorry, I'm a spastic and I can use it fine, so something worse then a spastic. Leave it the way it is, it doesnt need to get complicated.
