Thanks guys...
Cjm...the jobs are made by me, but the final price for a complete dash is not so cheap!
A 106 complete dash is around 85 pounds, but if i went to a upholterer to do the job, it would double the price. I spent almost 5 hours in the making of it!
This tissue gives almost the famous rubber touch, and it's really dark. In the pictures, i can't capture the real colour of it. I will try and take better ones with a proper camera.
This is what many race cars use instead of flocking. It gives better touch and can be easily cleaned, but is harder to apply than flock.
Adam, thanks in advance for the advice
1- I'm already using a thicker stud on this mount, but the car has already done 4k miles with another rigid setup, always on track and hill roads, and the shell is still nice. It easier to crack it in UK due the rust!! lol
My problem is the amount of power that it will have to cope with now, because it passes from a s16 almost stock engine for a gti6 with more than 200hp...let's hope it can do the job. lol
2- The driveshafts that i'm going to use are from a 406, because they are just about 3cm longer than the 306 one's, giving me the extra length that i need.
3- The subframe has already been seam welded.
