Hi all, im thinking about selling my 306 rallye shell ive had for a few years.I was planning on restoring it but i have to many other projects so i have not done anything with it for over a year now hence the reason i may let it go.

Here are a few pics of the car.

Here are some pics of the front pannel i had to take off because of a little rust patch (they can be bought new for around £40)

Here are a few pics of the work i started doing underneath:

Before:

In process:

It also need finishing off underneath, ive done most of the grinding back and treated the light rust patches and then primed it in zinc primer but there is still more todo and will need repainting underneath.

Other than the above the shell is in really really good condition with no rust anywhere in the engine bay, boot floor, rear pannel etc like most rallyes has also had a full respray.

This is just a brief description so please ask for more details.

I know i should put a price up but to be honest i dont really know what to put it up for so im open to offers really and if im happy with the offer its yours.

Hope this is ok.

Thanks,richard.

P.s i still have the wings and doors that can come with the car, also has new rallye graphics on one side.

Hmmmmm

So it's in bits ? Needs work doing underneath and the Pannell on the front ? Does it at least come with glass ?

Rich I think it's worth more to you than we think it is to us ? I'd love to take it off your hands and re shell my rallye but have no idea what the value is ???????????

I don't think it would be worth more than a 6 shell considering the work that needs doing to make it a useable shell
What mileage does the shell have on it?
V5?
I will take it of your hands for £200 due to the work that needs doing to make it a useable shell and the location, so I have to consider trailer rental, petrol....

Hi, the dash, loom, carpet, glass etc is all still in the car its just everything mechanical has been taken off. well you dont have to do anything to drastic underneath but you may aswell freshen it up as its all stripped and wouldnt take to long to do.

Front pannel would be easy to change just needs welding in (ideally spot welded) Ive done the hard part getting it off Thumbs up

I dont want stupid money for it just thought it may be good for someone who wants to reshell there rusty rallye or somone who rally`s and wants to reshell there car.

You could always just take everything off a smashed gti-6 (if somone crashed theres) and put it all on the rallye so they would have a nice example of a rallye, there is quite a few options really.

Thanks,richard.

Hi there, the shell if i remember rightly had around 65-70k ill search my other posts now because i think i may of said the mileage when i had the whole car up for sale before.

I know i did have the v5 and some history for the car but i have not seen it in over a year so it may well be lost, ill look through my files and see if i can find them.

As ive only just listed it, it would be stupid for me to take the first offer so ill see if i have any other interest and we will go from there.

Thanks again,richard.

I think £200 is fair, I paid £1000 for mine, a black one that needs a rear beam is up for £700, I brought a seam welded shell and cc cage for £1000!
You have my offer mate just let me know and I'll come get it!
