I just ordered some legal metal pressed from craigsplates for £35 delivered iirc... Good quality and no documents needed if your not bothered about having the legal jargon on. They will do any style you fancy so sure they would do French ones is that's your tipple.

So you opted for no legal jargon (show plates), therefore making them illegal LOL

They've played on the legal definitions to produce a "legal" plate. You can have standard lettering or 3d "effect" but pressed plates are not really an effect but genuine 3d. Also the plate requires a certain amount or flex so I wonder if these are actually tested. Don't be surprised if you're told to remove them, just because a company says they're legal doesn't make it so. I'm curious how they make these Aluminium plates reflective too Dunno

Iv had pressed plates on mine for years with no problems. However... Legal or not I wouldnt have them again as they have started to rust in places.

I agree, could be more hassle than it's worth, especially if you've worked all day, scored some weed and had to sling it through the window cos your been pulled for stupid plates.
