did a bit more today, just got in fact!!manifold is near completion also thought i would bin that horrible piece of plastic that feeds the thermostat heres what i started with couple of hours later finished sorry but forgot to get a pic of the bottom mount, also didn`t have time to start the downpipe as i had to help a mate out on his maxi 5 turbo rebuilding two starter motors and wiring in some omex (the gucci bits). Also had to give the servo pump some space so did that too, as you can see not all the manifold is new, this is because the old manifold i used (gti6) had all the right components i needed, also they were in good condition, i only had to buy 6 90 degree 38 mm bends to make it. all the pipes are withtin 10mm in length of each other too, (so it wont soumd like a bloody sh*tbox subaru ) the downpipe is only going to be 2.5" for a couple of reasons a: because the bore is sufficient and b: a 2.5" pipe is easier to fit in the hole. after the downpipe is made its going for ceramic coating, not sure on the colour yet though. Well night night puggers am fooked so am going for a kip xxx FATLAPIT ________________________________________ |

You need a 3" downpipe on a volvo to get 300+ bhp. 2.5" isn't big enough and makes it all run too hot.________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

just a quick snap before she goes to bedcouple of jobs to do, pull the turbo away from the body and pill the compressor towards the engine so its parrallel. also remove the power steering cooler and fit a little oil cooler behind the r/h fog light for it. make mounts for the intercooler too. ________________________________________ |

on the collector?? weld from the inside and then you can make a nice cone shape to promote good air flow ________________________________________ |
