Ok not guna fit these now because as per every job i do on the 6 is met with seized and rounded off bolts! FFS!

Bolt on a coil pack is seized and rounded off to buggery....Guns Angry

Thought they were cap screws.Tighten first then loosen.One of the first things I was told when I started toolmaking.

Yeah cap screws, torx bit with a round head?! Odd screws to use tbh, if they were like a nut shape on the head i could have got around it that way but as its round on the head i cant! Matt's guna try cut a grove into it with a hacksaw when we gets time, i shall not be defeated!

Shouldn't be that much bother to be honest,You could always cut the head off the bolt ,slide the coilpack off and then get a mole grips ot something on the bugger.Watch the swarf though.Gilsey your inbox is full mate.It's not a problem just let me know.

they're 5mm allen key on all the ones I've worked on Thumbs up

bar the two T30 that hold the loom carrier down.

Clean out the allen head with a small screwdriver before trying to undoThumbs up

I may have made the hole a little more mangled than it was by attacking it with screwdrivers and maybe a drill too Whistle

We'll get it.....sooner or later

edit; the plugs were last changed at 60k, 40k ago and the guy who did it must've done it up too tight as i havent been there before today
