Marco, do you mean fully comprehensive cover maybe? I.e. covering the car itself, not just the risk to the 3rd party and/or fire and theft? If so, yes. On any age as far as I'm aware. I can see the logic in not covering fully comprehensive after 10 years though, considering the relative value of the car. And, 27/400 for the purposes of the thread. |

Over here all risk means that if you put a dent in it when shopping or anything else on the car, the insurance will cover all the costs. But apparently one can get it's car taxed by a taxator, so you provide the bills of any mods, lets say a full respra a sc conversion a KW V3 some nice brembos, wheels etc... if all the costs combined are over 10k€ than you can insure it all risks, i'll have to look into that. So is it possible to insure a 14 year old french car all risks in the UK?? |

Yeah but you would not claim for a carpark ding and the like, as you normally have an excess to pay and your insurance goes up the following year. Ours is called fully comprehensive though. ________________________________________ Phase 2 Blaze GTi 6 (Standard) SoldPhase 3 Supercharged China GTi 6 (249.8 BHP) Sold Phase 3 Supercharged Diablo GTi 6 (443 BHP)Sold Nissan 350Z (300 BHP) |
