Do you guy have the possibility to insure a 6 all risks??? As here in Luxembourg once the car is older than 10 years you can no longer insure it all risks.

Marco, do you mean fully comprehensive cover maybe? I.e. covering the car itself, not just the risk to the 3rd party and/or fire and theft? If so, yes. On any age as far as I'm aware. I can see the logic in not covering fully comprehensive after 10 years though, considering the relative value of the car.

And, 27/400 for the purposes of the thread.

Over here all risk means that if you put a dent in it when shopping or anything else on the car, the insurance will cover all the costs. But apparently one can get it's car taxed by a taxator, so you provide the bills of any mods, lets say a full respra a sc conversion a KW V3 some nice brembos, wheels etc... if all the costs combined are over 10k€ than you can insure it all risks, i'll have to look into that.

So is it possible to insure a 14 year old french car all risks in the UK??

Yeah but you would not claim for a carpark ding and the like, as you normally have an excess to pay and your insurance goes up the following year. Ours is called fully comprehensive though.

Hello Rallye Shifty

I bought my Diablo 2 weeks before my 20th insuance was approx £1,500 TPFT. Last policy I was 22 and I payed £900+ (monthly payments) with 3 points and all mods covered 'like for like', *FREE!

I've since moved so I dread to think what it would be now If I bought another one, nowe I'm living in a high risk area.
