Alright guys, last week I picked up my first ever Peugeot, just happens that it's a Gti-6. I've owned a whole host of old Fords (and a VTR) but after hearing so many good things I'd thought I'd have a look in to the Gti-6. Obviously, I'm so glad I did, don't need to tell people here how good they are but it exceeded my expectations in every department!

I'm blatantly going to have lots of questions about them though, everything is fine at the moment, but I can sense something will change! The drivers window doesn't like going up, must be a switch though and the heater seems to do what it wants! It's always 7 degrees outside too apparently! lol.

Anyway here's a few quick snaps, want to take some decent shots soon!

I felt the same when I bought my first 306 GTi6 (Diablo), Never thought a car would bring me so much joy!

I am in love, even though I am not much of a fan of the phase 2(just because of the tailgate) but it looks like you have a lovely example there. Is it a non sunroof model? If so it's a WINNER!! I can't wait to see the 'decent' photos! Thumbs up

Cheers guys, should be up for some Kent meets, where are they normally held?

It is a sunroof model, going to leak is it?

I'm still trying to get to grips with the ph1/2 stuff, the chap I bought it off told me that it is a bit of a mongrel and has some ph1 and some ph2 stuff fitted...

What he probably meant was it has some ph3 touchs like the headlights.

    Is it a late '97 / early '98?

Not necessarily, just non sunroof models look better but also safer if you were to roll (not implying anything btw)

Phase 1 looks a lot different at the front compared to phase 2/3...

    example of a Phase 1:-
