will help if needed but surely the other issues should be addressed first like posting in general and then the thread being moved to the proper section only for paid members being able to reply LOL

Like I said, a couple of new mods/admins are needed, not just one.
I'm willing to do it anyhow.

I suspect there are about 4 or 5 willing people who would do the job well. Admin should ask those who are serious to PM him and then choose privately. I belong to a forum where mods post under separate "mod" ID's and so can continue to participate normally without claiming any special attention-we have in fact chosen to make our dual IDs known but it does allow for a very clear distinction between mod action and general views. My post counts on each are @2330 and 47, illustrating how rare it is to need to post as a mod.

Thanks for the feedback ... I think Blink

As for "sitting on the pot" ... don't think for a minute that I stand to make money from this club. I've funded this place 100% since it started in 2003, so introducing membership now won't suddenly buy me a new house Laugh

I don't think its the issue of a few quid, its that the site is worse than before and that people that do pay are in a worse position than non-payers.

agree'd the only way to sort the divide i think is to limit non paying members to 25 posts the only down side could be that those members say sod it and do 1 leaving less info here, i paid the membership myself as i saw it as a small price to pay considering the info i'd had over the years but someone who is clued up and gives the info would maybe say im not paying to give info, i've registered on sites in the past where you need to pay when registering maybe thats an idea for 'new' members and restrict old non payers post count, i know this has been descussssed so many times before but i feel this is the divide and until sorted ...................

What's having a admin online going to do anyway, are folks expecting a massive positive change with more admins?
Because if u ask me all that will change is all the shire will be locked meaning even less to read and a few things will get put in the right topic and any trolls removed meaning even less to read. and that's all I can think of, other than that it will still be the same, these cars are old now, it's not like there's a massive following or future for it and having admins won't change that.
Gun me down if you want but what extroardinary do people expect is going to happen with a couple of admins?

My point is people moaned wanting the site changing now they think it's worse, then they want more admins, what positive change do you expect to see with this?
Folk just can't be happy and let things be, they just moan it's worse after the changes they moaned to get.
