Roger are still in the racing buisness. After his retire from Btcc he was one of the guys who started Peugeot 206 CUP in norway. After beeing a part of this ha started his own team of 206 and Low cost cars/drivers. When they closed downthe 206cup He bought most of the cars and started event management with the cars. During summer at Våler Banen (1 of the 3 tracks we have in Norway) and during winter up in the mountain he was running the cars on frozen lakes. Now he is a part of Mads Ostberg Rally Team as PR/marketing manager.
Sorry about this OT. in your tread, It was fun to see my friends car still in use
Hope it was ok to write little about the first who was racing this car.
Excellent, I have been trying to track down where Roger had gone and what he was doing so its good to hear hes still racing and still with Peugeots.
Any tips and info he could give me on the car would be great! And if he has any pictures or anything like that of the car that would be even better! I do have a poster from back when the car raced and I went to watch it, and the poster is signed by both Roger and Simon, this car is more than just a race car to me its a bit of history! I loved going to watch it race so then to own it is even better.
If you could put me in contact with Roger, if he or you dont mind that would be great, either on here of facebook or something, but dont worry I wont turn into a storker and hassle him it would just be nice to be able to have a chat
