Hi, does anyone know if the gti-6 head would fit the rallye no problem i know the engines are essentailly the same, but i'm sure i read somewhere that because of the air con it's a different amount of teeth on the belt. if its just a case of swapping the camshaft pullys i'm defonatly after the head! any help would be great thanks lads. |

The pulleys don't need swapping over. The tensioner size on the larger belt takes up the difference in length. ________________________________________ |

Hi again, so do both the gti and rallye timing belts have the same number of teeth and the differance is taken up by the tensioner? thanks again |
