Hi, does anyone know if the gti-6 head would fit the rallye no problem i know the engines are essentailly the same, but i'm sure i read somewhere that because of the air con it's a different amount of teeth on the belt. if its just a case of swapping the camshaft pullys i'm defonatly after the head! any help would be great thanks lads.

Hi,
I´m interested in the whole engine.
Can you put some pictures? Can you send it to Portugal?

The pulleys don't need swapping over. The tensioner size on the larger belt takes up the difference in length.

Hi again, so do both the gti and rallye timing belts have the same number of teeth and the differance is taken up by the tensioner? thanks again
