The wheels are cool in a retro way but I wonder what they are from? Not any Ford wheels I know of.

Capri's are so cool. My cousin used to have one, when I was about ten, and I thought it was the best car ever. I'm sure it was like a three litre engine, or something close. It was fast as f*ck, though. Tidy ones go for silly money still.

Well it's outside plumbcentre off Gloucester road if you want it. I think it belongs to someone who works there as I've seen it a couple of times....go for it.

Yeah man I think you can get 3.2 ltr Capri's. They have kind of come back into fashion again. My ex really wants one as her Dad used to own one back in the 80's and when he died her mum sold it and I think the guy crashed it.

This is the kind of car I want to do a road trip in. Anyone game? I will sell the Rallye and get this.

I think 2.8 Injection was the biggest engine, not that fast at all though probably feel like warp speed given they try and go sideways all the time LOL

Ah yeah 2.8 thats it. They were the boy racer cars of the 80's though. Fast back then but terrible handling.

I just remember being in the back with all the windows down, getting blown all over the shop, and my cousin telling me were doing a Ton. I was scared to f*ck. LOL

It would be the perfect car for one of those gumball rallies, or whatever they're called!

Road trip, road trip!!

Maybe a dumb question, but, Would dibble have anything to say about driving a car around with 'police' written on it? Dunno

Technically it is illegal to impersonate a police officer but I would say common sense would play it's part. Some officers would probably insist on the removal of the stuff. However I did see a full on American cruiser driving through Cheltenham recently LOL

I thought so. I wanted to drive round in it dressed as a police officer with one of those old 'dome' style flashing blue lights in the car and at any given point you could wind the window down and slap it on the roof. LOL

Sorry but getting in through the window in something like that makes it even cooler! man if I had that car I would get in through the window even if the door opens fine. Technically I would have to open the door, wind down the window, close the door then jump in... but still Cool

Even cooler if the window was actually shut, and if you had a half smoked cigarette in your mouth.
Also, on second thoughts I'd have to drive it around with a massive cream cardigan and a perm, starsky and hutch stylee.

I'd wire the electric window to a keyfob
Press the button, window comes down then the only dilemma would be deciding feet or head first!!

The brooklands Capri was a 3ltr iirc

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.

...and drive it through small side alleys through a pile of cardboard boxes. And have two blokes carry a sheet of glass across the road for me to drive through. And then hit a ramp with just the near side wheels sending it into a barrel roll into a lake. Bye bye Capri! Wave

Nah, despite killing yourself and totalling the car, you ALWAYS wake up without a scartch the morning after and the Capri is back on the driveway, as if nothing happened. A bit like Groundhog Day 4, the quest for peace.
