I'm potentially interested in a 306 gti with tax and test, that doesn't require a cambelt and doesn't have a tappy engine. Preferably black or blue, not after blaze, no offence rust lovers.PM me if you've got anything. ta |

£1000 seems to be reasonable after browsing pistonheads and ebay thats all.I don't expect a mint 306, but I think 1k is decent for a usable example. I don't expect a low mileage supercharged 6 for £1000, but imo its reasonable for an average example. Theres about 5 on pistonheads for 1000~ but thought i'd see what comes up here. |

think the good luck comment was at the "doesn't have a tappy engine"..... should find something at that price easy enough, just make sure there is substantial evidence for timing belt and water pump getting done recently. Yeh wouldnt expect mint looking one. ________________________________________ TEAM HIGH BOOST SUPERCHARGED RALLYEMy Rallye project thread |

Yeh wouldnt expect mint looking one. Exactly, he has a long list of things he wants to find done, and all under the 1K mark, can't see many people letting them go after having recently shelled out for all that work. Cars that need all of the above will be available in droves though ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. I sell new and used welding equipment in the Hampshire area. Anyway, GTFO my thread! |
