Unless you have deep pockets theres no easy bhp to be made. Better off spending the money on suspension work.

Have you added all that up though?

Cams - £450ish
Exhaust - £300ish
Viper or similar CAI - £200ish
Remap - £400+

So that's looking at nearly £1400. Do you know what you'll get for that?

..About an extra 15bhp.

Agreed. For that you could buy another 6 - gut it and have a track car to rape.

Spend your money on suspension and brakes. There's enough horses to keep you amused on the B roads IMO.

Stop dicking around and buy another Car that's faster.......biggest waste of money trying to speed up a car you don't think is quick enough.

Sounds like yours isn't running properly, they're plenty quick enough fella

Uprated brake pads and Premium tyres, just see how fast you can corner Big grin

Also hybrid rear ARB, lightened flywheel, uprated springs/dampers, take some weight out - seats, spare tyre etc.

mate if its only got 66,000 miles on it then leave it standard. The best thing to do is do what Monkeyman says with brakes and tyres. I wouldnt do anyhting else to the car. These cars were built for handling, no real need to make it faster unless you are going to do track days.

I would replace all the probably perished bushes for new standard parts. I did that when I got mine, fantastic difference.

Front wishbone bushes. (New wishbones was the easier option here I thought)
Rear Beam (both sets)

And check the top engine mount, and chock it if it has too much movement.

Then enjoy! Plus it's less likely to kill you with a LOOS moment.

Another one for all that, shocks, brakepads and tyres. If you still need to make it faster after that you arent driving it right. Thumbs up
