A GTI6 sounds better than a VR6? What have you been smoking??!!!!

And a VR6 will rape a standard 6, i know this as my cousin has a VR6.......it's awesome! Better mpg with a GTI6 though Laugh

I've been a passenger in a VR6, and can't believe a standard one would 'easily' pass a GTi-6 running 192bhp! Perhaps it was supercharged?

who knows but it was rapif to say the least. but people are saying if pug performance did the work maybe that is why it beat me i dont know why?

the fact is the 2.8 vr6 is 7bhp more than a 6 as mentioned so put them together both in standard form then there will be f*ck all in it!

that extra 7bhp could be lost just trough being overweight LOL

also as said they 2.9 vr6 lump is 188bhp and alot of people use these in place of the 2.8, so the guy you came up against could have well had the 2.9 transplant in which case the difference between your 6 and his vr would only be 4bhp!

my money is on it was either a modded 2.8 or it has the 2.9 Yes
