3 lots of oil changes/servicing on 3 different cars including mine.

Mmm, cancerous.

Looks like a tip trip is imminent with 15 litres of waste oil?

LOL

Carl

Managed to sack some off onto my brother seeing as I did the change for him.

One of the cars was a Polo that hadn't seen new oil (or even a top up probably) in about 2 years and as a consequence, only about 2 litres came out. LOL

So, not as much as I first thought to take to the tip but I'm still doing my bit to pollute the Earth.

Guess you get the odd few litres to dispose of as well eh?

Well I do but as it's the winter it now goes into a waste oil heater which is good.

Carl

notice the lack of tail rota, all clever stuff.

had to solve a mystery this weekend that smelt like a gas leak at our house....had the gas board round twice and found nothing. turns out my expensive gearbox oil for the gti6 that i could not bring myself to throw away a few years back has statrted to rot its way through the milk container i had it stored in. It has sat for yonks in the out house that used to be the outside toilet , leaked and soaked into the concrete floor thus sending great wafts of gearbox oilsmells into the down stair bathroom floor and into the house , smelling a lot like gas.
prper scooby doo mystery and ironoic that even though it has been nearly 3 years since i sold the gti6 it is still causing me problems all this time later

Saturday i helped my hungover wife clean the house etc Smile. And then travelled to Derby to see both my parents who had been on holiday and the in-laws. I then took the oppurtunity to do an oil change, change my plugs and replace coil pack 1, thank you for that Carl!

Sunday was the Wifes birthday, so we went through the whole presents and cards things, i moved my dturbo about 2 metres to clear my parents drive a bit for them and received a Sunday lunch for my galant efforts! We then travelled back to Stafford with my mate following behind in his track prepped civic, enjoying the country lanes on the way!

We then went round to a neighbours to enjoy more fireworks and alcohol, finished off with a takeaway pizza and prawn salad (WTF!?).

Today at work i performed a 2 yearly service on a Landrover Wolf and repaired the thread on a DAF tractor seal. Also modifying my mates exhaust heatshield over dinner break. Which leads us to the present moment, where i am just setting off to Asda as the wife is ill. Bad times.

Nothing more to report.
