Shocking!

That's why I kept hold of mine. Can't complain but I love my rallye.

Surprised an E92 320d coupe joining a particular stretch of M1 heading south and I was pleased that a 13 year old hatch beast has still got the grunt to out do most modern sporty motors. I'm not saying a 306 is for life, but at the going rate it's fair to say I live for the 306. Big grin

Although ebay is not necessarily representative of prices in general, these are crazy cheap now. I wonder if they can only go up in value from here, like the 205s?

Good ones should hold a slightly higher value, but when you see the state/price of many advertised it's not surprising they're becoming worthless, many examples are nothing special by today's standards.

It's perhaps also representative of the type of people who can afford these cars now (I paid around £6k iirc for my first Rallye in around 2004 Shock). This new generation of owner may not look after them as well given that they cost next to nada to purchase thus decreasing the value further.

Agreed, the amount of poor spelling these days is horrendous. It's not like they are long complicated words either

That's not completely true, not all of the "new generation" of owners treat the cars like crap. Since getting mine in July I've spent twice what I paid for it on new parts and maintenance, I'm working on making my 6 as perfect as possible for a 12 year old car.

Although yes alot are treated badly now

I would happily pay other the odds for a good example if its got genuine low miles and well documented history. Can't help feeling my time with my first was short lived. If I bought another one I think any worries I have about running costs would more than likely be erased. Shifty
