yeah they can be powdercoated just make sure the threads are covered first!

Ollie that's shit man, thought i'd wrapped them in enough bubble wrap, everyones were wrapped the same way.

Let me know what bits are there and i'll see if anything's missing

Every thing is here mate, I'm not doubting or blaming u, just think (know) royal mail don't give a shit!
They are straight and no threads are damaged so im happy it was just the careless attitude from RM!

Nice one for sorting the group buy Chris!

Got mine too!! :-)

The packaging was ripped to bits, and the main tube was seperate from the rest, but had been strapped to the package with an elastic band. Bloody royal mail, they dont give a crap about what they are delivering anymore!

If I had this over to bog standard mechanic will he know how to fit these? You mentioned something a little while back about drawing up some notes for fitting? Are these available yet?

Again, Cheers for sorting the group buy out :-)

There's a fitting guide linked on the previous page buddy

Might put the price up a quid next time and buy better packaging, especially as bill's have to make it all the way to Oz!

Hi Chris

I Sent you a pm yesterday regarding skinning some parts of mine in Carbon fibre.

Are you still offering the Carbon fibre skinning service. I have nearly 30 parts that I would like to have skinned.

I can supply all the necessary materials required if you would like.

I look forward to hearing from you.

PM me when you get a chance.

Cheers

Hi, probably just me being paranoid but it seems that there is quite a bit of movement in the eye end due to the outside diameter of the spacer being undersized compared to the inside diameter of the bearing, not used a dti on them yet but I would say it's probably .010- .015 movement!
Like I said it's probably nothing to worry about just wondered if u are aware of this!

they're the same spacers as i'm running with no issues so far, at least in the 1500 or so miles i've done in them.

May be a manufacturing defect with the spacer itself? The spacers should fit snugly but don't need to be really tight, when the joint is held together by a torqued up mounting bolt it will be fine, i'm sure. Spoke to phil about tolerances and his advice was that once they're done up tight the joint holds together. If you DO have any issues let me know asap as i'll have to speak to the supplier about their acceptable tolerances.

F8AMG, sorry i won't be doing any more skinning until next spring
