Very nice, one of 50 if I'm not mistaken. I'm currently track prepping an e36 328i and they are really easy to work on.

Have you thought about getting the convertible underbody x-brace?

Exactly, Imola Red E36 M3 in standard guise is a rare sight Mark. Congratulations on you're new purchase! Thumbs up

A mate of mine is selling his Estroil Blue Individual and it's in very good condition. For those who like E36 Bavarian motors, check this out .

Very nice!!

You're right about the difference in drive though, the e36 is like driving a rocket powered truck compared to the e46.

The fella over the road has just got one of the very latest M3's - the V8 jobbies. I've got to say it's a lovely looking car in (can't remember the exact name of the colour) metalic grey. I've had a sit in it and it's a wonderful place to be - a world away from sitting in the Lotus - which is to be expectedLOL
When he told me he'd only paid £18k for it (yes I did say 18kShock) I was very surprised!! It's barely run in at 75k miles Got the old cogs moving I tell thee. But TBH I love the rawness and feeling of the Lotus something I doubt the M3 can match - although I'd love to be wrong on thisSmile

Most are in the low 20's so if he knows someone in the trade (or at auction) you could prob get one for that kind of money.

Although im picking the S6 up tomorrow im still hoping to get the C63 (cheapest is around £28k) in a couple of years.

That is damn smart- look forward to seeing some more decent pics.

I've heard the new M3 is disappointing most owners, driver involvement just not there. I wanted an E46 M3 for quite a while but not after having the 350z. They seem to be getting heavier and less involving as they evolve- always fancied a go in the E36- or even one of the lushous vintage E30's Ninja

I will be looking for a C63 estate in about 15 years time when I can afford one. Will obviously be pushing it about by then due to £15 per litre on fuel LOL
