car is now engineless and will do the shell complete rolling on (steel wheels) with all suspension all panels interior. 1k. all it needs is a gti6 engine or a standard 1.9 and its worth 2k plus all day long.

I have pulled the engine box rad etc out and am amazed how tidy it is in the engine bay pics below. As a restore or fast road project this car would be great as there is very little corrosion and the body work is fantastic. I am off working abroad very soon so its for sale at this price as it is too good to pull to bits but would pull to bits for far more than a grand if I was so inclined.

Not sure how early it is but it's certainly a 1.9! Don't know alot about the engine as I didn't fit it myself and the previous didn't seem to know alot either!

Is there much rust at all on the inner wings(Looks fine from pics) Sills, Boot floor, Basically all the usuall places ?

How is the body for dings and dents ?

Is the bulkhead all in one peice, I know on some of the rougher conversions the bulkheads tend to be a mess and end up splitting (Like my own !)

How many owners has the car had ?

The car certainly looks very clean and is probably what I'm looking for, My only real concern is the distance and as your probably well aware picture only tell so much.

Cheers

the car is very tidy with very few minor ( i mean minor nicks and dents) is in very good condition rist wise and paint is good and polishes well, not faded. I would say its had some paint over its 22 years as roof and tailgate are very slightly different shades. The alloys that come with the car are just 1.9 rims and average tyres and not the ones in the pictures. fi you are doing a gti6 conversion it will be great foor that or just a boggo standard car. the car will be running on standard shocks and springs.
pm me your email and can send you a load more pics if needed. I have a mate wanting this but so far hasnt actually said he is having it. so hurry up "mate" shout if you want it as new project is arriving and room will be needed soon.
