You can either pay to use the technical section or post your question in here where the same people will answer it with the same information but it won't cost you anything. |

tbh basic is only a fiver, and you can get and share knowledge. I cant see the owners making much out of it, and after all they have to put in the time to maintain the site etc. Whats a fiver? Dont be so tight |

Why would I pay to be a member of a message board. The internet is about sharing knowledge - not charging for it.I have just spent 20 minutes on this forum and I now have the information I need. The admins have gained nothing, and I have only wasted my time. |

Pipps wrote: Why would I pay to be a member of a message board. Because it's a great little community of people who actually help each other out in person as well as just on here and so many illiterate idiots kept joining with stupid comments and trolling that it was decided to charge to help keep them out (amongst other financial reasons)......so your loss really. ________________________________________ Less than 24 hours to go! |

Yep! And you can't expect one person alone to do all the changes and backups and make things better for the forum without being able to cover his own costs.£5 is nothing, you save that straight away when you find the answer to doing something rather than taking it to a garage..... ________________________________________ VW Golf GT TDI 115, 100k nooooooooooooooooooooo! |
