Bit pricey but they have been around for ever

Steel crank - high comp pistons and rods - cams - head work - stand alone management slap on some 48's flute them to take 50s trumpets wise then a full on racing exhaust = job done

Oh maybe diff and brake upgrade as well LOL

Sounds so cheap and easy when put like that LOL

Na I agree with Chris, they can be a bit of a dog to drive sometimes to drive on the road.

Bodies ftw, simple and reliable. Don't get me wrong, I love the power of boost but do miss the sound and purity N/A.

Your sc6? The only issue I can report with mine us that it is a bit thirsty around town.

It drives like a standard car, but with more power. And a heavier clutch.

I'd go with boosted (and have) No real difference in the drive and no worse on fuel economy when pottering around. When you open it up however it a right barrel of laughs! Even had my mate who's a die hard french hater gigling like a school girl, lol. Sure I think the boddies sound better but the charger sounds good in it's own right.

Just my pennies worth.

Hmm can't really say why, just doesn't feel like a standard one.

Think it's just the cutting out issue, always making sure the clutch doesn't drop from too high revs and all that, gets a bit tideous after a while.

Spoke to Rich about this? Wasnt this a problem with the earlier ones? He has an ECU update he can do to make it go away. Never had the idle issue with mine (other than it sat idling at 2krpm, which was down to a leak from a boost hose)

I'll pm him. Mine has been updated around a year and a half ago, but then it wasn't cured 100% so thought that was the best it was ever going to be. Didn't realise he'd fixed it completely. Cjm have you got the bigger intercooler?

I'm not sure that he's fixed it completely, but I know I have no issues with mine. Best speaking to Rich really and just make sure you have the latest one I guess Smile

I have the small low boost intercooler. It's a forge one provided by Rich.

When mine was low boost small cooler never had a stalling issue ever, but now high boost with larger cooler i get it on lift off, wayne bassically made my car idle high so it doesnt do it as much now, the first maps with larger cooler had stalling problems but the map on yours paul should be ok as im sure it was sorted by time ash's was charged i think, or if not he would of had an updated map as i know Russ got a new map years ago to cure this

na still minor stalling issues here am afraid ; new map helped..... decent result that last rr day too?

i learn to get used to it, i only stall once every month or so LOL usually coming up to junction when i let revs drop too quickly.... accelerate more and you dont notice

never really had much issues with being too bad on fuel, much the same as standard unless i was driving like a cnut Yes which i do now and then

Yeah the small coolers don't have the problem it's the large ones. It was alot better with the updated map, just still there every so often. Just me being a tart!
