I'm sure no-one's read it, but have a look at www.306gti6.com/about - makes for some depressing reading ...________________________________________ quote: Ash is in charge, from afar |

Nice read and nicely laid out I would say that leather Alcantara was in them well before 1998 though? Or have I just read the passage wrong? ________________________________________ Almost standard 1999 Bianca RallyeHilux InvincibleX daily 306 No.13 Carp and specialist Anglers Click here |

Nice read Ash. This is only to true. The other night a guy asked ''what are you running 2.0L''? I said yes with 6 speed to which he said ''f@&k off where'd you get that box'' i replied ''standard.... Look at the badge".... He said "f@?k there rare aren't they" he ended up saying mine was the best 6 he'd EVER seen and heard.. But here is where all the best ones are thanks to you Ash!! ________________________________________ Team SUPERCHARGEDI LIVE FOR THE 306 Old Project thread Clicky: click here remove the space between [url = |

"f@?k there rare aren't they" he ended up saying mine was the best 6 he'd EVER seen and heard.. But here is where all the best ones are thanks to you Ash!! I once pulled up at some lights next to a load of chavs in an Astra, one leant out of the window and started shouting, I thought i was going to be mugged but he goes 'ere mate, is that a gti-6??? Well rare (I think it might have been bare rare, such is the trend in Sheffield), I would love one of them! These cars have a bigger following than I think we know..... looking at that graph they are getting very scarce now! Once had the car parked in works carpark and someone came in to ask if it was for sale as he couldn't find one anywhere. Captain Ash, is that graph ones that are registered then or does it take into account unregistered cars as well? ________________________________________ Almost standard 1999 Bianca RallyeHilux InvincibleX daily 306 No.13 Carp and specialist Anglers Click here |

i was banging on about this years ago, could never get my head round the figures for p1 s as ash said 90 odd sold in 1996. they are like rocking horse shit and will not be appreciated until they are all gone. same with the ralleye and if i had a spare couple of grand i would be buying that blue one. only problem i can see is the french car community is so small and french cars dont become desirable until they are virtually exstinct or 30 years old.p1 s did have alcantara and the one good thing about mustang is it was a lot more hard wearing but it did look like pre war curtains ________________________________________ puglessPhase 1 GTI 6 1996-1997 Subaru Impreza GB270 2007-2008 rare spiderman comics same day international courier |

Great read ash, Rallyes will be worth something in the future, only the cleanest of GTI6's with low mileage will be worth some decent money in the future markets! Everyone grab theirselves a bargain, i'm selling a gorgeous Sigma Blue with a mere 109k on the clock! ________________________________________ VW Golf GT TDI 115, 100k nooooooooooooooooooooo! |

Good read."The following graph shows the numbers of both cars in the UK, and a shocking reminder that at the current rate of decline, there will be no 306 GTi-6 or Rallye left by 2017." Disagree. As with all cars the number will decline over time. The fewer the cars available the slower the %decline. The graph will slowly level off and so there will still be plenty of GTi6's and Rallye's available in 2017. What the graph does show that in the last 10 years, since discontinuation of the 306, the number has halved roughly. And so in the next 10 years (2021) it's likely to half again, ie there is looking to be around 125 rallyes from the 500 made and around 1000 GTi6's from the 4500 made (all approx). Then in 2031 it will half again. roughly 60 rallyes and 500 GTi6's still on the roads. All graphs usually have a trend and this graph shows that although both have taken the plunge, it's also showing it's levelling off slowly ________________________________________ JAMMA "M44YHW" MAYHEWLOSE WEIGHT NOW - ASK ME HOW - NUTRI-FIX GTi6 LPG, The best of both worlds! 2006: 1997 R reg 306 1.4 Miami - Diablo Red - DEAD 2007: 1999 V reg 306 1.4 Meridian - Diablo Red - SOLD 2007-09: 1998 S reg 306 GTi6 - Diablo Red - DEAD 2009-10: 1998 R reg Corsa 1.2 - Blue - SOLD 2010-13: 2001 Y reg 306 GTi6 LPG - Diablo Red - DEAD 2013 - 2013: 2000 X reg GTi6 LPG - Moonstone Blue - DEAD 2013 - current: 2001 X reg GTi6 LPG - Diablo Red ]FOR SALE "I LIVE FOR THE 306" |
