The head was skimmed at the time, and has been removed carefully to ensure it stays true. Obviously, never overheated etc.
I have checked the head with an engineers straight edge and it is spot on to refit as it is.
The combustion chambers are 35.5cc so it would suit a high compression engine build.
The head will be supplied without cam covers, built up with the valves, springs, and retainers. There are obviously no cams with the head, but the carriers are there along with a set of OE hydraulic lifters.
