ooooops well i kinda forgot that the MOT was due a couple of weeks ago so booked it in pretty sharpish as soon as i realised. i had no time to anything in preparation so just dropped it off and hoped! when i took it in the nice trusty garage man said ok no probs anything you are worried about? i told him there was a problem with the door handle on the drivers side! it didn't work! I lost the little white plastic clip that hooks into the handle on the wire inside) ooops again! "well thats an instant refusal to examine" he informed me! so i said well you know when i rang up to book it in and i said if there were any minor issues then just do themm as long as we dont get over three hundred quid i'll probably go for it? he said yeah? well thats a minor issue so fix it then test it? he disgruntledly agreed and gave me their nissan micra 16valve 1.3 dingy! picked it up today with just a side light bulb and a ball joint which they also did and a new 12 month ticket along with a list of advisories as long as your arm. Smile Smile Smile

it's a good feeling when it goes through without too much pain inflicted on the old wallet. My insurance, tax and MOT were within 2 weeks of each other. *cringe*.

As soon as you fix something on a car it causes other things to go wrong, so the idea is not to fix anything and your car will be fine! Thats what Ive done and my car is works great, except for a few occasional stalls and odd noises.
