Don't let it go for less than £4k. Were talking silly money now. Strip it would be your best option or take say the brakes and wheels off with a few other parts and sell it for cheaper with just the charger fitted. ________________________________________ Phase 2 Blaze GTi 6 (Standard) SoldPhase 3 Supercharged China GTi 6 (249.8 BHP) Sold Phase 3 Supercharged Diablo GTi 6 (443 BHP)Sold Nissan 350Z (300 BHP) |

I would say even with my tinted specs it has to be worth over £4.5k, if someone took there car to rich to get it charged it would cost not far off that, factor in the fact it’s a well looked after car, wheels, brakes, exhaust and all the other little touches here and there ________________________________________ |

I would say the brakes are worth more if they have plenty of life left in the pads as dont they cost nearly £900 to make?________________________________________ Phase 2 Blaze GTi 6 (Standard) SoldPhase 3 Supercharged China GTi 6 (249.8 BHP) Sold Phase 3 Supercharged Diablo GTi 6 (443 BHP)Sold Nissan 350Z (300 BHP) |

Different setup. Uses Rich_W's original set up, Megane brembo's with DS2500's and brackets with 406 v6 coupe discs. Still cost around £500-600 to put on though If I had the money I'd buy the old girl back, but finances just don't allow it ________________________________________ Now rollin' in a 182FF |

To be honest they are a good car, pretty economical considering what it is running, all stated figures on new cars for mpg are usually a lie and dont factor in we want to go over 2 miles an hour. so chances are you will be pining for speed again and will want another. talking to your new son about the good ol days when you were running a supercharged gti6 and now we cant afford a decent car cos mummy spent all the car money. GLWTS but keep it if you can. 2011 A truly crap time to be selling a specialized car. ________________________________________ puglessPhase 1 GTI 6 1996-1997 Subaru Impreza GB270 2007-2008 rare spiderman comics same day international courier |

cjm_harris wrote: Any interest in the car for sale? Want to sell me that exhaust yet? Well there is loads of interest in parts BUT I have decided to keep it, if someone meets the asking price I will probably sell but for now I will sort out the little bits that annoy me and get it ready for a problem free winter (fingers crossed). Need a new drivers seat, machine polish to remove the scuffs, new driver side arch liner and the exhaust needs adjusting as it vibrates at around 2600-2700 RPM Sat down at the weekend and realised there is no point selling this and getting another £5K car and running two cars when in 12-18 months time my work is relocating to about 5 minute walk from the Mrs work, we work similar hours so we can do with one top notch car, will probably end up having her dads 11 plate S5 (she works for her dad and currently has his old Golf R32) ________________________________________ |

Think that's a good choice, you would only regret it once sold.________________________________________ Phase 2 Blaze GTi 6 (Standard) SoldPhase 3 Supercharged China GTi 6 (249.8 BHP) Sold Phase 3 Supercharged Diablo GTi 6 (443 BHP)Sold Nissan 350Z (300 BHP) |

Makes sense mate, you would regret selling it especially if it was sold at a massive loss ________________________________________ Chris1999 China Gti6 Supercharged [Fun car] >>Project Thread<< 2000 Bianca 306 Diesel [Work runabout] |

same situation mate, i will not let mine got for less than £5k even then i am thinking, i know i would regret it come next summer. Just dont let anyone try and rob you of it, as regardless what anyone says, its worth over £5k anyday.a standard charged '6 is worth around the £4k mark, let alone one with decent wheels, brakes, exhaust system etc.... ________________________________________ Team allesclar ® |

any car is only worth what someone will pay for it. if you have it sat up for sale for £5k for 5 years, it is not "worth" 5k________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

But when the novelty wears off you are left with a noisy, more uncomfortable and less desirable 6 Looks like mine is definitely being kept as the price has been at £4500 for over a week and it hasn't got any interest ________________________________________ |
