I've got a pair of 21mm torsion bars removed from a 2001 Xsara VTS with 73k miles.

Well documented simple upgrade for 306's and plenty of information on the forum if you do a search. Since these are from an early Phase 2 VTS, they're powder coated black as standard, rather than covered in surface rust as they usually are from the earlier VTS's.

Looking for £80 plus £10 insured courier if required, or they can be collected in person from Swindon, Wiltshire (10 minutes from M4 J15/16) or from Castle Combe Action Day this coming weekend.

Hi Anthony,

I am new to Peugeot 306 ownership and just joined this forum.

Have you still got the torsion bars for sale?

Thanks, Simon

Ha ha, that's funny. 1970. Appears I managed to register before I was born too!

Anyway, regarding the torsion bars, I am interested in buying them and have a friend who works in Swindon who could possibly collect them on my behalf. I can't PM you because I've not paid for membership yet, please could you let me know your phone number so I can text you to discuss, my number is 07968 941247.

Thanks, Simon

Opps, sorry people - I have still got these but don't get on here very often and didn't realise that notifications don't work either for normal members since the "upgrade" Dry

Footah212 or anyone who asked previously and is still interested - let me know an email address and I'll give you a shout to sort out payment and delivery Smile

International postage on the torsion bars is expensive, so I won't do them for £80 delivered to Germany I'm afraid.

Lammylama - Yes they're still available.

Footah212 - No I'm not willing to do them as cheaply as £70 delivered.

Don't know if we'll make it this year, been spending all my spare cash on mods.

If i hadn't spent so much in the last week i would have snapped these torsion bars up. Hope you get them. Think i'll need to wait for the next set to come up.

All the best bud, stay away from those traffic rozzers this time lol.

Anthony - Sorry for the slight thread hijack. GLWTS
