Would a jetex system too restrictive for a high boosted engine cause of the large boxes? I am running low boost atm, but was not at the rollers so i cant tell if i loose power with it. What bore size is it ? you need to run 2.5 inch bore ? min ? |

The large boxes won't restrict the power but on my car I bought the 2.5" joint from jetex and had it welded in replacing the restrictive bottle-neck between the decat and first box. |

Yeah, that was my plan, too. So you are running high boost then, ash? I had that done to my lowboost road GTI6 but sold it before I upgraded to highboost. I've done the same thing on my highboost race GTI6 but with a Blueflame exhaust. There are pics on my Jetex thread somewhere. Edit: here: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=128378&page=5#98 |
