Hi all, i think my cat has fallen apart due to the rattling coming from it. My problem is i cant really afford £££'s for a new one , i'm running standard back box straight through mid section standard cat.So do i..
A. Buy a de-cat and just run back box
B. Buy de-cat and refit my standard mid section
C. Buy a cheap ebay cat
any advice welcome.

if you can get it up on a ramp get a bar and wobble the whole exhaust, see if any of the heat shieldings are touching, as mine was really knocking the other week and i thought the mid section was f*cked but it was a bit of sheilding the protects the rear brake hoses iirc.

as for miles il check the history to see if it was ever replaced but i took it off at 128k i think but il have to check. nothing wrong with it, when i find it actually if i find it haha il post a couple of pics up for you

and i took it off to replace it for a decat Smile

EDIT: where in herts are you?
