hi so i have just gt my 406 4 pot brembos they came with discs of a 406 3.0 but now im told that they make the wheel ofcenter. so what car would have the right size discs thanks

That, my friend, is bullshit  It seems to be down to luck. They're not cheap (about £250 a pair) but I've used mine on about three or four trackdays absolutely pounding them and they've lost practically no material whatsoever. As already said, squealing or silent 406 brembos seams to be down to luck. once read that Calipers with 4 equal sized pistons are more prone to noise than other designs. There are loads of threads on here and the 406coupe club forum, and many suggest that if the calipers are kept clean they are less prone to squeal. There are also suggestions that corrosion behind the stainless steel plates is to blame. I am upgrading to 310mm alcon discs and AP 6 pots (partly due to the noise) ________________________________________ L reg "black and blue" phase 1 track 6 |
