Bet you can't wait to get yours charged though mate, you'll love it. Yeah right, it seems surreal having the kit here, I've wanted it for a while now so can't believe there's only a few more months to go I have been using your insurance quotes as a guideline for mine as you are a year older than me and have an almost identical driving record it provides a good reference for me ________________________________________ supercharged China gti6 - Thu 16th Sep 1999 - sold2010 megane rs250 |

Like brakes or suspension or will that be it for a while? the brakes i will leave as they are for now, but in the next few weeks i will hopefully have Miles do a complete suspension overhaul for me i wont give too much away now but it should look better and handle better without being obvious that its been done. pics will follow as soon as i get all the parts. so that will all be done before the charger gets fitted. oh and as in my other thread i will probably go with the full jetex system. ...oh and its running like a complete sack of crap atm so that also needs sorting i think i could've got a mortgage for what i'm throwing into this car ________________________________________ supercharged China gti6 - Thu 16th Sep 1999 - sold2010 megane rs250 |

it spent the last week at lynx getting some goodies fittedit pulls brilliantly now and im glad i had this done, only problem is it stalls if i let the revs drop from anything over 1200rpm. its currently done a fantastic job of making me look a complete tit at several roundabouts, especially as when i start it back up it revs itself thus causing it to stall again unless i hold it carefully on the throttle ________________________________________ supercharged China gti6 - Thu 16th Sep 1999 - sold2010 megane rs250 |

Yeah. To combat it you need to open the throttle ever so slightly by using a tiny rubber grommet thing or just unscrewing the screw bit that opens the throttle. I'll grab a picture, it's hard to explain you do get use to catching it though at roundabouts. ________________________________________ Phase 2 Blaze GTi 6 (Standard) SoldPhase 3 Supercharged China GTi 6 (249.8 BHP) Sold Phase 3 Supercharged Diablo GTi 6 (443 BHP)Sold Nissan 350Z (300 BHP) |

is that on the throttle body? i dont recognise that part at all, but i do understand what you mean, so that it doesnt fully close the throttle thus not strangling the engine?________________________________________ supercharged China gti6 - Thu 16th Sep 1999 - sold2010 megane rs250 |

Isn't the screwhead this side the bit resting on the butterfly? ________________________________________ Phase 2 Blaze GTi 6 (Standard) SoldPhase 3 Supercharged China GTi 6 (249.8 BHP) Sold Phase 3 Supercharged Diablo GTi 6 (443 BHP)Sold Nissan 350Z (300 BHP) |

didn't look like it, unless mines so badly corroded now that it doesn't resemble a screwhead anymore. i'll clean it up and try to get a better look at it, that was just a quick look to take the pic________________________________________ supercharged China gti6 - Thu 16th Sep 1999 - sold2010 megane rs250 |

But yeah if it's under the black thing just take it off and move it slightly. Only a tiny tiny amount though. Maybe not even a turn. ________________________________________ Phase 2 Blaze GTi 6 (Standard) SoldPhase 3 Supercharged China GTi 6 (249.8 BHP) Sold Phase 3 Supercharged Diablo GTi 6 (443 BHP)Sold Nissan 350Z (300 BHP) |

Interesting, 1/4 of a turn isn't enough but half a turn is, except now it's roaming between 900-1100rpm on idle________________________________________ supercharged China gti6 - Thu 16th Sep 1999 - sold2010 megane rs250 |
